As you walk past our lemon tree you step onto the front terrace, which catches the morning sun. We have furnished this terrace with a table and chairs, a great spot for breakfast. The key to the villa can be found in a wall mounted key safe by the front door. As you enter the villa immediately to your right is a cupboard, which houses the wall safe, a great place to store your passports etc. Also on the right is the door to the downstairs cloakroom. Also on this level is the newly fitted, modern kitchen, with a large fridge freezer, a eye level electric oven and inductor hob, a microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There are many storage cupboards, above and below the worktops, which have all the plates, cups, bowls etc you will need. We have provided large numbers of glasses and crockery and cutlery so there is always enough, even when the dishwasher is in use. Under the sink we have provided extra rubbish bags and toilet rolls and well as cleaning items and cloths. There is now a door leading from the kitchen out to the rear garden and terrace area, via two steps.
Back out in the hallway you step down one step into the open plan lounge and dining area. The dining area is a large space with a long, Spanish, dark wood table with chairs and a bench, so plenty of inside seating for up to 6 people. There is a wall mounted bookcase, please help yourself during your stay and feel free to add any books you are finished with. Across the room is a large sideboard for storage, as well as our welcome book with villa information and guides to operating appliances, we have a review book (please feel free to leave us a review). At this end of the room is a set of double doors leading onto another large terrace at the back of the villa. This terrace is great to get out of the sun for lunch and evening meals and also a very relaxing place to sit and read, or just admire the views. This terrace has been furnished with a large table and six chairs, as well as relaxing outdoor sofa and chairs.. It is possible to view the mountains and the sea from this terrace. We have provided a basic barbeque for guests which can be placed at the back of the villa, charcoal and fire lighters can be bought locally.
Back inside the villa and opposite the patio doors, is the lounge area. We have a two seater and a three seater sofa in this area along with the large smart TV with IPTV box, so access to all channels in all languages. There is access to WiFi throughout the villa (and separate WiFI at the pool area) and USB sockets in most rooms. There is also a downstairs air conditioning unit fitted in the lounge, for your comfort.
Upstairs
At the top of the stairs, after going through the child stair-gate, there is a large landing area which we have positioned a single bed, for use when there is more than 4 staying. The bedroom to the right is a twin room (2 single beds) which has 2 windows which look towards the pool. There is a large, built in wardrobe, with plenty of storage space and a built in air conditioning unit.
The next door on the landing leads to the family bathroom, which has a basin,toilet,bath and shower cubicle. The last door on the landing leads to the main bedroom. This room has a double bed and built in wardrobes with plenty of storage and hanging space. There is a set of double doors from this bedroom which lead onto a large, private sun terrace, furnished with a table and chairs and 2 sun lounges. All the terraces are fitted with outside lighting.
Out of the villa and up some steps is the large communal pool with a deep end and a shallow end for the non swimmers. This pool is cleaned and maintained daily and is surrounded by many sun loungers and small side tables, which can be positioned in the sun or shade as the sun moves round the pool area. The villa and pool area are set in private, landscaped grounds with beautiful plants, flowers and trees all carefully maintained. The grounds are watered via a sprinkler system, so watch the steps as they are slippy when wet!
From the gate of the complex and down a short slope or set of steps is the parking area. Further parking can be found by the beach and is free. The resort of Cala San Vicente (Cala) has 4 beaches in total, all within walking distance. The main 2 beaches have beach bars, life guards and sun loungers with parasols to hire. Cala, has over 15 cafes, bars or restaurants to choose from during your stay as well as several shops and a couple of small supermarkets. There is a bus service as well as a taxi rank and a local car hire office for your convenience.
